Ultrasound is a safe, noninvasive technology that uses sound waves, to produce pictures of joints, ligaments, tendons, nerves and muscular structures throughout the body. Musculoskeletal ultrasound may be used instead of or in addition to other types of imaging modalities such as CT or MRI for evaluation of soft tissues and joints.
Through the use of Ultrasound, Dr. Kelner is able to visualize injured tissue and accurately guide treatment for regenerative medicine injections.
